FAQ’S ON CURTAINS
1. What is the best fabric for curtains?
Cotton is the most versatile fabric and one of the easiest to clean. We at Nushayani give you just that.
2. Do you customize curtains?
Yes, we do. We offer customization in terms of your preferred length, header style (we offer six different header styles) and lining options to provide room darkening effect. Please head to our custom-made tab to explore further.
3. How do I know which size curtains to order?
Measure the width of the rod from left to right. A common rule for displaying curtains properly says that the curtains finished width should be at least two times the width of the window or door to achieve a look of proper fullness.
4. How should curtains be measured?
A good thumb rule to measure your curtains is to break anywhere from a ¼ inch to ½ inch from the floor, similar to a break in pant legs of your shoes.
5. Do you provide room darkening curtains?
Yes, we do. We provide the room darkening effect by adding a lining to our existing curtains. You can choose the option “Lining” when you are placing your order. You can also view a sample image of the curtains with lining in the above section.
6. Are Curtains sold in pairs or single panels?
Our curtains are sold in pairs. However you may choose to buy a single panel as well.
7. What is the width of curtains?
Width of each curtain in eyelet, channel track, top loop and back loop is 42 inches whereas in pinch pleats it is 18 inches.
8. How often should you change your curtains?
It is suggested to change your curtains every season as the temperatures normally fluctuate. However, you can wash the same sets of curtains and re-hang them if you prefer.

9. How do I contact You?

10.What are the Delivery Charges?

11. Do you deliver outside of India?
Yes we do :). Shipping charges apply. You may check for the same under our Shipping Policies section.
12. What is the estimated delivery time?
The delivery time varies on the basis of the destination city of delivery. Typically it takes 3-4 days for all metros and Tier 1 cities. It may take up to 5 days for delivery in Tier II cities. For some cities in North India and J&K, it may take up to 10 days for delivery. At times, due to unforeseen reasons there may be some delay in shipment. We will appreciate your patience during these times and we will ensure to get your delivery to you as soon as possible.

13. I am unable to place an Order
We regret that you had to face this inconvenience. Here are some options: Try using a different browser or device if possible or write to us at nushayani@gmail.com or Call/Whatsapp us on +919212100497 and we will try to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
14. I placed an Order twice. How do I cancel one Order?
In case you have placed your order twice and would like to cancel one of the orders, do contact us immediately via Whatsapp at +919212100497 mentioning the subject line as ‘Order cancellation’. We will look into the matter and cancel one of your orders. You will get the refund amount via the same payment method you used when placing your order.
15. Can I change my delivery address or mobile number once the order is placed?
Unfortunately, that is not possible at the moment. Since the system would have already passed the mobile number and address packing and shipment your product. You can Whatsapp us at +919212100497 to inform about such a situation. We will try our best to get the same resolved if the order is not shipped.
16. What are the payment options?
Once you have selected the item(s), you can pay via Netbanking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI. All payments on Nushayani are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways. We do not have Cash on Delivery option for our products.
17. I have already placed my order; can I add more items to the same order?
Once you have completed the payment process, you cannot add or edit the order. You can place another order by selecting the additional items and completing the order and payment process for them.
